The method involves obtaining a driver (18) with a sheath (20) made of polymeric material for covering the driver on a periphery and length. A detection/stimulation electrode is formed by a metal ring (22). A microcable is fixed in a central part (24) of the ring so as to grip the sheath between the ring and the microcable, and to push back insulating material in adjacent zones from a puncture zone of the sheath, where the remaining insulating material from the sheath is interposed between the microcable and the ring in areas (30) located on sides of the puncture zone of the sheath. The sheath comprises an electrically insulating polymer material selected from a group comprising polyurethanes, polyester, polyamides, polycarbonates, polyimides, fluoropolymers, polyether-ether-ketone, poly-p-xylylene, polymethyl methacrylate, PTFE, perfluorinated propylene, perfluoroalkoxy copolymer resin, tetrafluoroethylene, hexafluoropropylene, fluoride vinylidene, polyvinylidene fluoride, ethylene fluorinated ethylene propylene and ethylene tetrafluoroethylene.
