Disclosed are a time compensation apparatus and method for a master device, a time compensation apparatus and method for a slave device, and a time compensation system. The time compensation apparatus for the master device comprises: a compensation loop, a time compensation module, and a time generation module. The time compensation module sends a compensation signal to the compensation loop by using a compensation signal output end, obtains a compensation signal from a compensation signal input end, records a needed time from sending of the compensation signal to obtaining of the compensation signal, and obtains a compensation time according to the following equation: t=T/n. The time generation module uses the compensation time as an advance to perform advance setting on a time corresponding to a time signal, so as to generate a new time signal, and sends the new time signal to a first signal input end of a master device component by using a time signal output end. By means of the foregoing disclosed content, the present invention can eliminate a delay generated by a time signal in a transmission path under the precondition of no manual test, and can adapt to different environments.
