An auger assembly (100) for a combine harvester (10) includes an auger trough (42, 58, 60) having side walls (104) with a length so as to extend laterally between opposed side sheets (102). Guide tracks (108) are configured along bottom edges (106) of the side walls (104). A flexible bottom cover member (110) is slidably engaged within the guide tracks (108). The cover member (110) is removably attached to the side walls (104) by being slid into and out of the guide tracks (108) from a longitudinal end of the side walls (104) outboard of the side sheets (102) for an auger clean-out procedure.
