Method for recycling flat liquid crystal screens

The method involves cutting (90) a liquid crystal flagstone (10). The flagstone, which is cut-out in a recycling sector, is recycled. The flagstone is opened by separating glasses (100), in the recycling sector. An inner face of each glass is washed with liquid allowing solubilization of the liquid crystals, in an initial stage, where the liquid contains organic solvent or alcohol, and acetone. The inner face of the glass is washed with another liquid allowing a chemical etching of indium-tin oxide, in a next stage, where the latter liquid is acid solution, and contains nitric acid.
