POWER SAVING CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MOBILE DEVICE, MOBILE DEVICE AND HOST TERMINAL

Disclosed are a power saving control method and apparatus for a mobile device, a mobile device and a host terminal. The method comprises: when a mobile device is in an on-line state mode, judging whether a data card module of the mobile device is in use or not, and if not, indicating that a user is not using the data card module of the mobile device to provide functions such as web-surfing and so on, and setting the mobile device into an off-line state mode (i.e. low power mode (LPM)). A radio-frequency signal of the mobile device entering that mode is closed, but a USB flash disk function module thereof is still in a normal operating state. Therefore, a host can still access the USB flash disk function module of the mobile device normally. Namely, in the present invention, when a data card module of a mobile device is not in use, the mobile device is set into an LPM mode so as to reduce the electric power consumption of the mobile device, and at the same time, when the mobile device has a USB flash disk function, the usage of the USB flash disk function will not be affected.
