The present invention relates to a method for controlling the temperature rise of a battery for increasing available energy when the battery of an electric car is at low temperatures and, more particularly, to a control method capable of increasing the temperature of the battery by inducing heat from the battery by controlling the charging and discharging of the battery using the increasing internal resistance of the battery in a high charging area of the battery. According to the present invention, the reduction of mileage is prevented by increasing the available energy of the battery in winter by inducing the heat from the battery by controlling the charging and discharging of the battery using the increasing internal resistance of the battery in the high charging area of the battery.
