The present invention relates to a mechanism of the glutamate release from astrocytes and, more specifically, to a rapid release mechanism of glutamate and a slow release mechanism of glutamate, mediated with a channel. The present invention reveals the mechanism of the glutamate release from astrocytes, thereby enabling users to practically use the mechanism for developing a nerve cell protection technology and a neuro-transmission promoting technology through controlling astroglial cells.
