The present invention relates to a device and a method for measuring the slope of a road. The present invention can supply energy to a vehicle eco-friendly and can measure the slope of a road by calculating an angle between the ground and a solar cell producing the largest amount of electricity based on electricity generated by a solar battery panel including solar cells with various angles installed on the vehicle, and measuring the slope of the road where the vehicle is placed. Processes can be simplified by omitting a process for mounting sensors because various sensors for measuring the slope of the road are not used.
