The present invention relates to a fixed ballast tank block of a ship and an installation method thereof. The purpose of the present invention is to provide the fixed ballast tank block which is manufactured during the manufacture of a ship block and is capable of removing problems such as increased man-hours and a delayed process, wherein the problems arise when the fixed ballast tank is installed in a dock step. The fixed ballast tank block is manufactured when the ship block is manufactured, and comprises a square or rectangular fixed ballast tank block; a vertical trunk which has a pipe duct formed therein, vertically penetrates through the center of the fixed ballast tank block, has a pipe or a cable penetrated therethrough, and has a predetermined width; and a horizontal trunk which has a pipe duct formed therein, wherein the pipe duct horizontally passes through the sides of the fixed ballast tank block, has a pipe or a cable penetrated therethrough and has a predetermined width.
