Disclosed are a smart device and an operation method for the smart device. The disclosed smart device includes: a touch input module which runs an application program by a touch; and an energy generation element which generates electrical energy from mechanical force applied from the outside. By doing so, it is possible to run the application program by a touch to the touch input module and at the same time generate electrical energy using the energy generation element. Also, by displaying the amount of the generated electrical energy through a wireless communication network, it is possible to determine the energy acquisition ranking of users.
