A method for taking side-by-side stereo pictures and a single lens camera therefor are provided. A reflector is provided to be erected side by side within a predetermined angular deviation range between the reflector and an axial direction of a lens towards the front of the lens beside a camera module using a reflector holder. An image focused on an image sensor consists of a first image, which is reflected by the reflector to enter the lens to be focused on a first half of the image sensor, and a second image, which directly enter the lens rather than the reflector to be focused on a remaining second half of the image sensor. An image signal processing unit executes a predetermined application program, performs a signal converting process of turning the first image, focused on the first half of the image sensor, from left to right, and stores, in a storage means, an image signal of the processed first image and an original image signal of the second image as side-by-side stereo images.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
