Scenedesmus sp. M003 producing biodiesel, and method for producing biodiesel using the strain

PURPOSE: A method for producing biodiesel using Scenedesmus M003 is provided to increase cell growth rate and cell division. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing biodiesel comprises: a step of culturing Scenedesmus Y831 and treating with EMS(ethyl methanesulfonate); and a step of culturing Scenedesmus and isolating lipid and fatty acid from culture liquid. The muated Scenedesmus is Scenedesmus M003(KCTC 11778BP). The fatty acid mainly contains oleic acid(C18:A) and linoleic acid(C18:3).
