PURPOSE: An antiviral composition containing Daphne kiusiana extract or fraction is provided to ensure strong antiviral activity. CONSTITUTION: An antiviral composition contains Daphne kiusiana extract or fraction thereof as an active ingredient. The Daphne kiusiana extract is isolated using water, low alcohol of C1-C2, or mixture solvent thereof from dried Daphne kiusiana leaves, stems, flowers, and roots. The low alcohol is ethanol or methanol. The fraction is obtained using an organic solvent such as hexane, ethyl acetate, or butanol.
