CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing or treating inflammatory diseases contains Phellinus baumii-derived polyphenol extract as an active ingredient. A composition for preventing or treating inflammatory diseases contains active compounds of Phellinus baumii-derived styrylpyrones as an active ingredient. The active compound is isolated from the polyphenol extract. The active compounds include interfugin A, baumin-Pb211, davallialactone, hispidin, hypholomine B, phelligridin D, or inoscavin A. A food composition contains the polyphenol extract.
