The present invention relates to vegetation soil using mudstone and a method for manufacturing the same. More specifically, properties of the soil can be improved by adding the mudstone to the vegetation soil; the vegetation soil provides a condition under which germination and growth of a plant are promoted, and provides nutrients to the plant. The vegetation soil using mudstone includes 20-40 parts by weight of mudstone powder, 5-15 parts by weight of barley stone powder, and 1-3 pats by weight of a mineral mix with respect to 100 parts by weight of organic compost, which is obtained by fermenting a mixture of manure of live stocks, sewage sludge, a moisture adjusting agent.
