Disclosed are a real-time video live broadcast system based on space information using a smartphone and an operating method thereof. A space information generating method which is applied to the real-time video live broadcast system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the following steps in which: an authority control server receives image information including image data, position data, and direction data from a mobile terminal; the authority control server confirms that the mobile terminal has authority to transmit the image information; the authority control server transmits the image information to a space information operation server if authority for the mobile terminal is confirmed; and the space information operation server calculates space information corresponding to image data based on the image data, position data, and direction data of the image information and outputs the space information.
