FIELD: engines and pumps.;SUBSTANCE: device to ignite a charge of a solid-propellant rocket engine comprises a perforated sleeve with a case installed inside and filled with a pyrotechnical compound and a gas supply tube with a pyrocartridge. The sleeve is installed coaxially to the gas supply tube and is closed with a cover to form an inner cavity between the end of the case and the wall of the cover, and this cavity is connected via an augmented channel with the gas supply tube.
