The part (1) has a support (2) that is realized in a non-deformable plastic material. A hollow part is arranged in the support. The hollow part is filled with a material forming a substrate (6) in which a housing is arranged. The housing is arranged such that an aesthetic element (3) such as diamond, is able to be placed in the housing. The substrate is arranged with a hung unit that is able to be deformed so as to maintain the aesthetic element in the housing. The hollow part is arranged with a set of vertical sides. An independent claim is also included for a method for setting an aesthetic element.
