The other of two die openings of the first matrix form is a lower die opening, where the die set device comprises a second matrix form (3) comprising upper die opening, die cavity and lower die opening. The die set device is rotatable, such that the first matrix form passes into a pressing position, and the second matrix form simultaneously enters into an ejection position. The base element covers the lower opening of the first matrix form in the pressing position and leaves open the lower opening of the second matrix form in the ejection position. The lower end of the press ram is lowered in the press position through the die opening in the upper die cavity of the first matrix form. The stamping device comprises an ejection punch, whose lower end is lowered into the ejection position by the upper die opening in the die cavity of the second matrix form. An independent claim is also included for pressing method for compacting dust-like, powdery or chip-like particles, preferably metal chips, comprising rotating the die set device having first matrix form and a second matrix form, where each material to be pressed is in the first matrix form and in the second matrix form, inserting the press ram into the first matrix form through the upper opening, to compress the material to be pressed, and inserting the ejection punch into the second matrix form through its upper opening to the material to be pressed by the lower ejection opening.
