The device has a spindle (4) and one and another carriages (5,6),which are drivingly coupled to the spindle, where the carriages perform a linear movement in the opposite direction of a spindle axis upon rotation of the spindle. Fixing elements (7,8) drive each of the carriages by rotating the spindle for clamping of a traction battery under a bottom space. The spindle is fixed with the carriage on a vehicle and the fixation elements are fastened on the traction battery.
