The housing (2) has a partition wall (4) vertically arranged in the housing in a parting plane. A first zone (21) is thermally separated from a second zone (22) in the housing in longitudinal direction (L). A through-hole (50) is formed in a retainer (20). An air cooling device (5) is provided with a fan (50). A flow partial device i.e. hole lattice (6), is provided between the retainer and the cooling device in a boundary region. The retainer is inserted into a battery module (3). The cooling device passes cool air into the zones. An independent claim is also included for an accumulator battery system.
