The sensor (1) has an electrical component i.e. capacitor, comprising two capacitor plates arranged in a bottom portion of the sensor, where the sensor is arranged to detect whether a tire (2) is installed so as to store and delete tire information. Capacitance of the capacitor changed in a blocked state of the sensor is compared with capacitance in a non-blocked state of the sensor, where the sensor recognizes whether the tire is fitted in an electrical sense manner using a non-contact process. An independent claim is also included for a tire.
