Method for enhancing driving behavior of motor car, involves carrying-out stabilization measures even with stable driving behavior when stationary driving along curves is recognized and overriding tendency is determined
The method involves performing a comparison between a measured actual yaw rate of a vehicle (1) and a target yaw rate that is calculated in a vehicle model, by a driving dynamics control system. A driver-independent braking force is applied to a wheel of the vehicle with respect to the comparison result in order to adjust the actual yaw rate to the target yaw rate. Stabilization measures are carried-out even with a stable driving behavior when a stationary driving along curves is recognized and an overriding tendency is determined. An independent claim is also included for an electronic control device of a vehicle brake system.
