The dummy (1) has a partially translucent body (11) of a concert grand piano without mechanical sound-producing components. The body is partially detachable, and made of multiple components. The body includes a plug-in module (13) for receiving a synthesizer. A light strip i.e. RGB LED, is arranged in the body. A ballast adjusts a preset light color and/or brightness of the light strip. The body is mounted on three translucent legs (12), which are removable. The body and the legs are partially made of transparent glass or plastic. An operating device is operatively connected with the ballast. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a concert grand piano dummy mounting kit (2) a method for mounting a concert grand piano dummy.
