The thermostatic controlled valve (1) has a valve housing (2) with an intake (3), an outlet (4) and a valve seat (5). The valve seat is arranged between the intake and the outlet. A valve element (7) is connected with a spindle (8), and is moveably spaced away from the valve seat. An indication element (16) is operated with respect to the spindle.The spindle is movable beyond a position in which the valve element comes into contact with the valve seat. An overpressure spring (25) is provided surrounding the spindle.
