The apparatus has a storage container (100) receiving raw- or heating water. A temperature sensor (400) is heat-conductively connected with the container, and a condenser (300) i.e. roll bond condenser, is partially arranged around the container in a region, in which the sensor is provided at the container and not influenced by heat entry of the condenser. The container comprises a longitudinal welded seam (200), and the sensor is provided in a region of the welded seam. Distance between the sensor and the condenser is 1-5 cm. The temperature sensor is formed as a negative temperature coefficient temperature sensor.
