The ventilation device (10) comprises a vent valve (20) having a vent hole (24) that is locked by a closure element (22). A sensor unit (30) is provided for recognition of free-flowing matrix material. The sensor device is annularly formed relative to the vent hole such that the free-flowing matrix material is recognized prior to penetration into the vent hole. An independent claim is included for tool device.
