Method for determining velocities of front wheel and rear wheel of motorcycle, involves performing supplementary correction of velocity of motorcycle based on deviation factor depending on longitudinal acceleration of motorcycle
The method involves detecting the speed values of front wheel and rear wheel. The velocity of a motorcycle is computed based on the speed values of front wheel and rear wheel. The velocity of the motorcycle is corrected by the influence of the tire geometry lambda. The supplementary correction of the velocity of the motorcycle is performed based on the deviation factor depending on the longitudinal acceleration of the motorcycle. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a measurement device for acquisition of velocity of motorcycle; and (2) a motorcycle with measurement device.
