The unit (3) has a spring loaded piston (7) for pressing a plate (9) during operation of the unit. A pneumatic test line is blocked in a pneumatic input unit (4) such that an airflow in the pneumatic test line is prevented. A sensor e.g. air sensor and pneumatic sensor, is arranged in the pneumatic input unit. The sensor receives and sends a feedback signal from and to an input of the pneumatic input unit during detection of a state of the airflow in the pneumatic test line. The plate is mounted under an arm (5), where a connecting link clamping cylinder is mounted at the arm. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a connecting link clamping arrangement (2) a method for assembling a connecting link clamping arrangement.
