The invention relates to a removable probe for a teat, formed by a main channel (8) intended to be inserted into the teat sinus, said teat sinus being obstructed by a sphincter at the lower end thereof. The probe is of sufficient length in order to extend into the udder cistern and out of the teat, and the upper end of the probe extends into at least two strands (9) intended to deviate from the main direction of the main channel (8) and consequently to rest on the inner wall of the udder cistern.
