The screw i.e. nut tensioner (10), has a support element projecting through a support part (14). A central portion (17) of a clamping element (16) is connected with a threaded rod (12), and a peripheral portion is extended around the central portion of the clamping element. A washer (26) is interposed between the clamping element and the support part. Screw devices (20) are provided in recessed portions and driven in inclined portions, when rotation of the clamping element is blocked.
