The method involves developing a series of digital data files i.e. digital images by using a digital device (S2), where each file is dated by using an internal clock of the device. Identifiers representative of a person is recorded (S3) by a reader of the identifiers, where each identifier is dated by an internal clock of the reader. The files are synchronized (S4). A mark is recorded (S41) by using the reader or digital camera after developing each series of developed files. The mark is dated by using the internal clock of the reader or camera. An independent claim is also included for a system for synchronizing digital data.
