The method involves determining charging power of each of batteries according to the changes in the price of electrical energy, a desired charge state, an initial charge state, a predetermined charging time, and power available on an electric network. A scheduling is defined for the charging of each of the batteries, and the charging power is determined for each battery according to the scheduling. The power available in the network is determined from a difference between the total power of the network and a sum of previously supplied charging powers. An independent claim is also included for a charging system.
