PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cope with a fault without performing wasteful work at a time of occurence of the fault in an automatic transaction apparatus.SOLUTION: An automatic apparatus monitoring server 31 comprises a server communication unit 42 and a server control unit 41. The server communication unit 42 receives sensor information indicating whether a sensor 21 of an automatic apparatus 1 has detected a customer or not from the automatic apparatus 1. When a fault is occurring in the automatic apparatus 1, the server control unit 41 performs control to make a call to a telephone corresponding to the automatic apparatus 1 from an automatic apparatus monitoring client 32 if the sensor information indicates detection of the customer, and not to make a call to the telephone corresponding to the automatic apparatus 1 from the automatic apparatus monitoring client 32 if the sensor information does not indicate detection of a customer.
