PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epidemic prevention method, and a solid body for epidemic prevention which comprises an alkaline material and has coloration effects such as suppression of an environmental change in a barn, while securing epidemic prevention functions such as deactivation of microorganisms and viruses which come in contact with a surface thereof.;SOLUTION: By applying a base material on a surface of an object 200 and by drying and solidifying the same, there is formed on the surface of the object a solid body 100 which contains an alkaline material dispersed and embedded therein in a form of solid granules 102 and comprises fine cracks 105 which communicate with the alkaline material therein in the form of solid granules 102, the base material being a slurry of a mixture obtained by mixing and stirring: an emulsion of a non-alkali thickening type resin which does not thicken by aggregation and solidification even when an alkaline material is included; an alkaline material whose dilute solution shows a pH of 10.0 or more; and a colorant comprising fine powder of a naturally derived material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
