PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining copper nanoparticles from a fungus, and to provide use of the fungus in bioremediation of waste water and production of copper nanoparticles.SOLUTION: Provided is a process for obtaining/producing copper nanoparticles from a fungus selected from Hypocrea lixii and Trichoderma koningiopsis, wherein a copper resistant fungus is isolated and cultured in a medium containing a copper stock solution such as waste water, then the cultured fungus mass is autoclaved to obtain dead biomass or dried to obtain dry biomass, and copper nanoparticles are isolated from dead biomass or dry biomass.
