METHOD FOR CULTIVATING AND GROWING CUTTAGE OF WILLOW SEEDLING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for achieving cultivating and growing a willow tree which grows rapidly and has utility value, by cultivating and growing a willow seedling as a cuttage by a novel method.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for cultivating and growing a cuttage of a willow seedling, which comprises steps of: circumferentially removing peripheral skin at a slightly upper position from a lower end of a willow seedling having at least one bud flush;l covering the skin-removed portion of the seedling with a covering material; and planting the seedling in cultivation soil in such a manner that the bud flush faces upward and positioned in the air.
