PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispose a passing wire through a transverse pipe of an inverted siphon part of a sewer pipeline, and to reliably measure deposits in the transverse pipe.;SOLUTION: A device for cleaning a transverse pipe is connected to a passing wire which moves with a desired tension through the transverse pipe, and a device body thereof includes: and a frame formed in a substantially square box shape, on a surface of which a mounting plate is fixedly provided; and two or more scrape-off plates fixedly juxtaposed at intervals in an axial direction of the frame.
