PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for checking a state of damage to a bridge, using an aerial movement apparatus, which are used to check and inspect the state of the damage to the bridge, such as a crack appearing in a member constituting the bridge and the degree of the damage, by using the aerial movement apparatus.;SOLUTION: An aerial movement apparatus such as an unmanned helicopter comprising an imaging apparatus such as a digital camera and a video camera is used to directly photograph deteriorated conditions of a bridge, such as a crack appearing in a member constituting the bridge and the degree of damage, from the air.
