PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and system capable of supporting the reading comprehension of documents and performing the reading comprehension efficiently.SOLUTION: A present device includes a document structure analyzing unit 41 that divides a document into a plurality of elements according to a set rule and extracts the relationship between the divided elements to perform the structural analysis of the document, an input unit 40 that receives the specification of character strings included in the document, an information extraction unit 42 that extracts structural information corresponding to the specified character strings from structure information on the document obtained through the structural analysis, and an output unit 43 that schematizes the extracted structure information to output the schema.
