PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for evaluating a condition of a fracture of a rock mass by radon, which can accurately evaluate the condition of the fracture of the rock mass in a predetermined area by using the radon.;SOLUTION: Different quantities of water are circulated between a predetermined area in a rock mass and the outside of the rock mass, and a width wn of a fracture between a first hole passage 2 and a second hole passage 7 in a rock mass 1 (fracture of the rock mass in the predetermined area) is obtained, so that a surface area S (=2πr²) of the fracture is evaluated by a first radius r1 and a second radius r2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
