PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic photograph creating apparatus outputting print media such as photographic seals in which a plurality of square photographic images and a plurality of rectangular photographic images are laid out in an orderly fashion.SOLUTION: On a photographic seal 600 as a print medium, a surplus area 603 in which no photographic image is printed is provided passing through the center of a print area 601. The surplus area 603 is disposed bridging across the vertical direction of the print area 601, such that rectangular photographic images 711 and square photographic images 712 are divided into right/left two groups. This arrangement can beautifully lay out all the photographic images without producing wasteful blank spaces (clearances) other than the surplus area.
