Varnish removal device and varnish removal method

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably remove varnish adhering to a ring for a short time.;SOLUTION: A varnish removal device 1 removes varnish adhering to a ring 73 which constrains an inner periphery of a coil attached to a stator core during manufacturing of a stator. The varnish removal device 1 includes: crushing rollers 14 and 15 rotating while coming into contact with the ring 73 to crush the varnish adhering to the ring 73; a wing bolt 13 for making the crushing rollers 14 and 15 and the ring 73 come into contact with each other under pressurization via a base frame 11 and a movable frame 12; scrapers 16-19 for scraping off the varnish from the ring 73; and pressurization members 21-24 for making the scrapers 16-19 and the ring 73 come into contact with each other under pressurization. Each roller 14 and 15 also serves as a guide roller for guiding the ring 73. A material quality of each scraper 16-19 is softer than surface hardness of the ring 73.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
