PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brain activity analyzer or the like capable of accurately determining a measurement point.SOLUTION: The brain activity analyzer includes: a task state detection means for detecting the state of a task on brain activity given to a subject; an index data generation means for generating index data which is the data made to correspond to the state of the task for each of the plurality of measurement points, and in which an index value based on measurement data of a plurality of light receiving means is varied; a conversion means for converting the index data generated by the index data generation means to data on a phase plane whose two axes represent the index value and its temporal differential value, respectively, and storing the converted data into a storage means; and an evaluation value calculation means which groups the data on the phase plane stored in the storage means by states of the task, and which calculates an evaluation value evaluating each of the plurality of measurement points on the basis of the dispersion of the grouping-dependent data on the phase plane.
