An object of the present invention is to provide a water-insoluble coloring matter compound having high solubility for a solvent and high lightness and chroma and providing a chromaticity closer to the magenta chromaticity represented by the Adobe RGB color space. A water-insoluble coloring matter compound represented by the formula (1) is provided:; wherein R₁ and R₂ represent an alkyl group, and R₃ represents an alkyl group, an aryl group, or an alkoxy group. And the alkyl group, the aryl group and the alkoxy group regarding to R₁ to R₃ are capable of having a substituent.
