The laparoscopic instrument has a body (1) that forms the handle, further has a long tube (2) firmly attached to the body (1) and needles (4). A short tube (3) is movably connected to the long tube (2) at its end, in which the needles (4) are slidably mounted. The short pipe (3), which is connected to the long pipe (2) rotatably by means of a pin (5), is assigned a mechanical drive to adjust its angular position with respect to the long pipe (2). This mechanical drive is provided with a control element in the form of a first adjusting wheel (6) which is mounted on the body (1) in the region of the handle. A worm gear (11) is assigned to the first adjusting wheel (6) inside the body (1) and is connected via a short rod (12) and a long rod (13) extending through the long tube (2) to a short tube (3) at a location lying between the pin axis (5) and the surface of the inner surface of the short tube (3). The tool is provided with a second adjusting wheel (7) mounted on the upper body (1) for extending and retracting the needles (4). A conical gearing (14) is connected to the second adjusting wheel (7) inside the body (1) and is connected via a flexible coupling (16) to the screw (17) via a rotary rod (15) passing through the long tube (2). The bolt (17) is rotatably mounted in the short tube (3) and is assigned a sliding nut (18) in which the needles (4) are fastened.
