The present invention relates to a system for conversion of speech to text for blind and visually handicapped users, comprising a computer unit with a monologue and/or moog synthesizer. The computer unit is connected to an input audio device, control elements, an output audio device, and an output display device. The system is adapted for signaling of the displayed test and/or non-text states and/or non-displayed states of the system to a sound version. The sound version of the state is in the form of a preset soundtrack and/or written text of the text state converted by the monologue to a sound version and/or a parametric description of the sound converted by the moog synthesizer to the sound version.
