Provides a hydrate hydrobromide agomelatine of formula (1), in which X is BR, preparation, use and Pharmaceutical composition thereof. The Liquid obtained by the present method has a solubility that agomelatine increased significantly, and therefore is more suitable for the manufacture of pharmaceutical formulations.Using This method, we can obtain a high purity by a simple process without any complicated stage.
