The invention relates to a whisk (4) for an electric household appliance for preparing food, comprising a driving head (40) and wires provided in the form of a loop, the ends of which are attached to the driving head (40), said wires defining a central frame (41) to be dipped into a working vessel without coming into contact therewith, characterized in that said whisk (4) also comprises strands (42) defining a deformable outer frame (42) that is less rigid than the central frame (41), said outer frame (42) comprising a flexible lower portion (42B) which projects longitudinally with respect to the lower end of the central frame (41), said flexible lower portion (42B) to come into contact with a wall of the working vessel.
