The invention relates to an assessment method for identifying bio-markers by analyzing the protein expression profile in serum samples from patients with glioblastoma. According to the invention, the method consists in preparing and providing the chips after which the measuring protocol is applied to the protein samples, followed by the analysis of data wherefrom a group of relevant seric clusters is identified, a set of 4 bio-markers S100A8, S100A9, CXCL4, CXCL7 being selected, the said bio-markers showing significant statistic differences between the patients with cerebral tumors and the healthy subjects.
